Just 3 hours north of Perth by car lies Western Australia's Mid West region. Known to many as the 'wildflower region', this area is home to one of the world's finest collections of flowering plants.In this region (subject to seasonal rains), you can immerse yourself in, and wander through spectacular fields of yellow, pink and white coloured everlasting daisies.
The Kalbarri National Park boasts 800 species of flowering shrubs and between June and November you will find national parks amidst sandplain country that offer flora as spectacular as it is varied.
But the wildflowers are not the only attraction in the Mid West. A region rich in history, it offers an exciting combination of outback experiences and coastal activities.
